Greetings!

I am Pallavi Chatterjee. I and my team of weavers are elated to bring to you the finest range of handcrafted and handwoven luxury saris, fabrics , trench coats and RTW range inspired by age old weaving techniques and designs that can be passed down through generations as heirlooms with pride. The saris and designs that I explored during summer afternoons in my grandmother's Kashmiri walnut wood Sandook have become a source of inspiration to set a vision and present Indian weaves and crafts in the global market.

With over 6 years of corporate experience in IT and Retail, I found 2020 as the alarm to tell me that we need to support each other in this situation more than ever. My journey began by traveling to a very small village near my hometown in Chhattisgarh called Chhuri which is famous for Kosa Silk or Tussar and meeting families of weavers who are trying very hard to protect not just their livelihood but their culture and tradition. Very soon, Sandook expanded to 6 more regions and the zeal to take our handloom and craftsmanship global, became the purpose to keep going forward stronger than ever.I am very happy to share that a part of the purchase also goes to educate two girl children from the weaver community and with your support, it can facilitate many more in the time to come!
